Graduating from high school, one might have thought Allie Martin was destined for an athletic college career given her competitive nature and the God-given talents to fuel her pursuits. But as fate would have it, she discovered a new love – telling stories – leading to her getting into the world of video production and advertising. Then a fateful phone call changed her career ... And the 6-foot-1 Cincinnati native has been reaching new heights ever since.
A reporter for Cincy Lifestyle, an original, local lifestyle show "focused on providing viewers with informative, useful and entertaining content," Martin covers a variety of businesses, events and locations throughout the Greater Cincinnati region. Uncovering the untold stories of the area, Martin excels at bringing the happier, entertaining side of her city to light weekdays at 10 a.m. on WCPO-TV, Cincinnati's ABC affiliate. And for Martin – whose interests include bourbon, motorcycles and running among other pursuits – her frenetic energy is undercut only by a passion for her craft.
