In 1991, Tara Kemp burst upon the music scene with her debut single, a classic 90s R&B/hip-hop hybrid track "Hold You Tight." This was followed up by her debut self-titled album and an another hit single, "Piece of My Heart," that charted in the Billboard Top 100 ... And then she seemingly faded away from the public eye.
